History
The company was established in 1988 when a two-seat Cessna 152 aircraft was purchased for commercial flying training. Shortly after, the company became Gardiner Aviation and created a general aviation and flight training operation at Camden Airport, NSW, from scratch, with one aircraft and one client. The company grew quickly and enjoyed a sound reputation for excellence in flight training, specialising in advanced commercial and flight instructor pilot training. Within four years Gardiner Aviation became the largest operator on the field, out of 8 operators, operating 12 aircraft of various types, employing around 10 full and part-time employees. During 1993 the company developed interests in the then emerging computer and Internet technologies. In 1998 the aviation business was sold as an ongoing concern, but the company continued.

Since those days the company has worked in software and web development. In 2007, the principal of Interactive Technical took a position with the Defence Materiel Organisation, Army and introduced, developed and implemented the first ADF IETM publications for CH-47D Chinook aircraft. In 2010, the company changed its name, becoming Interactive Technical, bringing together years of aviation and mechanical technology, and combining it with years of software and web technology. This has launched the company into the forefront of the emerging world of electronic technical documentation and information systems, where it stands today.
